Hi, My name is Shradha Sharma, founder of The Bodhi Press. I’ve spent the last decade building businesses rooted in creativity, storytelling, and purposeful design.
The Bodhi Press was created from my desire to make everyday living more mindful, sustainable, and connected to the hands that create it. Inspired by the craftsmanship I grew up around, I work closely with artisans and women-led communities to create handmade products that honor tradition while supporting ethical and sustainable livelihoods.
Alongside The Bodhi Press, I also founded Artist Approach Co., my personal creative venture where I work closely with businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs to build meaningful brands through creative direction, branding, design, content production, and strategic problem-solving.
I also developed A for Arpana, a fine jewelry brand born from a deep appreciation for heritage craftsmanship, elevated design, and timeless luxury. Designed in New York and handcrafted in Kathmandu, Nepal, the brand brings together modern refinement with generations of artisan tradition, creating pieces meant to be treasured for years to come.
Across all of my ventures, my goal remains the same: to create with intention, support artisan and communities, and build work that carries meaning, story, and heart.

All items are handmade using traditional techniques passed down through generations, helping preserve valuable skills while providing income opportunities for artisans. Through skill-building workshops and meaningful project opportunities, the organization empowers women to support themselves and their families, while fostering growth within their communities. We’re proud to closely work with White Tara Incense based in Kathmandu, Nepal to create one of a kind unique aromatherapy incense by using ancient technic. In effort to keep ancient technique alive, we provide training and opportunities to artisans from rural and urban areas, many of them women.
